Very pleasant - lovely town

Breakfast wasn't included so I didn't eat there. It was very well situated in a quiet alley in the Souk so easy access to everything - up to look out over the harbour and down around the souk with a great array of stalls and cafes and out onto the square for access to taxis. very friendly locals who seemed to know where I was staying straight away and told me the way back when I looked unsure which way to go!

Staff were't around much so you had to sort yourself out but it was a good, traditional Rhiad

Lovely place and friendly staff

The location was great, close to the main attractions. Muhammad, the man who did our check in, was friendly and helpful and gave us some good restaurant recommendations.

The only downside that probably comes with staying at a riad, is the slight smell of damp.

A special place for a family stay

A great location in the heart of the Medina. The Riad is clean and welcoming. Special shout out to Salah the owner who was so kind and gave our family a tour in his car and then dropped us at the bus station (and wouldn't except any money for his time).

The double bed wasn't very comfortable but the other beds were great

Good

It's a decent place to stay at, the host is nice and it's "generally calm". It is in the middle of the old Medina which is busy, safe and close to most places one would to visit around the city. There is a nice terrasse, a common fridge and apparently even a kitchen which I didn't get to use. Not a lot of rooms so less people hanging around which is a + in my book.

It smelled a lot like an old building. A visitor being loud taking phone calls in the common area, not their fault but maybe informing of keeping quiet at night might help.

I didn’t lie how the shared bathroom was on the top floor (third floor) but my room was on the second

Very Good

Great location in the middle of the Medina (and easy to find). Rooms are furnished well. Host and staff were very friendly as well!

Part of the charm of the location is that you can hear the mosques during the night as well. That can be a bit loud for light sleepers. Rooms are well equiped, but not very large.

Host was incredibly helpful with organising taxis and even picked us up from the train station! He was very accommodating also when we locked ourselves out at one point!

Room was dark and no windows but perfectly adequate for one night

Good quiet place to stay

Good location- in the middle of medina but quiet street. The place itself was also quiet and relaxing with a wonderful roof terrace.

There were no staff on site so it took a while till someone came to check us in. But despite the wait the guy was friendly and I would recommend the place for a stay.

Traditional guest house top location

Out family loved it! Location is 10 right in the centre of the old Medina, in a quiet and safe street. On the arrival It’s dificult to get to the place without help considering the old Medina streets are too narrow for táxi and maybe like us you won’t have mobile data, so you should call the place and they will pick you up in a nearby location. The tradicional look of this place which is a típical marocan guest house was very charming. Our family room was equiped with a private bathroom with a tipical shower, just like shown in the photos. Plus the terrace on the rooftop which was useful for some small meals or to relax in the evening listening to the city sounds.

Though we loved the place: - the room had two fans but it was an interior room and as a consequence it smelled a bit humidity with the bathroom and so. An air conditioned would be a big plus to improve the rooms. - there was no cleaning on the next day, which we think might be a normal procedure on this kind of guest house but some support in the room maintenance would be apreciated and improve the service, for exemple some trash removal or towel changing need check (specially considering the shower type and the dificulty in drying Inside any towel)

Very Good

Mohammed was a lovely man. Stayed up late for us to check in and then took us to a nearby restaurant to eat that was still open (we were very appreciative of this). The place was safe with good door locks and privacy located in the Medina/close to everything.

The shower was cold (sometimes warm but rare) and the room was pretty hot. However there was a fan which made it ok. Didn't bother us at all but you can hear everything in the place so might be not ideal if you're a light sleeper.

Host is delightful. Location is spot on. Building is lovely. Room is nice, little dated as expected. Clean and basic but good.

Would you like to sleep inside the Aladin Lamp?

Fantastic place with a soul and heart put into details. The owner is a great guy, as well as the staff that is very nice and helpful. I will be staying here again when I will be back in Tanger.
